David Vanderlip's Digital Photography and Security Classes

Enjoy a day of shooting waterfalls and learning the techniques of capturing water droplets in midair and creating water smoothing by using neutral density filters and a tripod to get that fuzzy water-flow look. Plan a full day for travel and shooting. The day starts off at Union Creek on Hwy 62.

Note 1: Using a cell phone camera is fine for this trip, but some special effects (as in note 2) may not be an option.

Note 2: It is highly recommended to have a set of 3 neutral density filters (or a single variable neutral density filter) and a tripod when making the milky flow water effects. If you have questions as to which filters to buy, just ask David.

Note 2: A non-participating person may accompany you on the trip at no charge.
